Sundara Inn and Spa Review and Giveaway

Mar 20, 2014 02:11PM, Published by Julie Henning, Categories: Travel

Giving kids a long-overdue break from their parents, the adult-only Sundara Inn and Spa in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin offers opportunities for grand kids and grandparents to re-connect while their parents take long baths and 'time outs' in the intentionally quiet relaxation areas.

A respite from the burdens of daily life and distraction of technology, Sundara Inn and Spa is a favorite spa retreat destination for couples, siblings, girlfriends, and mothers and daughters. Branded as a "hidden jewel in a family mecca," the campus is cleverly tucked away in a pine forest on the edge of the sometimes sensory overload that is The Waterpark Capitol of the World. Sundara Tranquility Garden Patio_RAt its ten-year anniversary, the building and grounds were carefully constructed using the principles of feng shui to create a sense of privacy, a connectedness to the natural environment, and promote the flow of energy.

Sundara Meditation Trail - Hammock_REncouraged to wear luxurious robes and sandals in the inn, spa, and the outdoor tranquility garden and meditation trail and woodland hammock retreat, visitors are permitted to take naps, wake without alarms, and have picnic dinners in front of the fireplace in their rooms.

Sundara Ayurvedic Treatment_RIntegral to the Sundara experience is participating in the purifying bath ritual, "a self-guided treatment designed to cleanse the skin and clear the mind." Recognized by  Conde Nast and Travel + Leisure as an award-winning facility, visitors from near and far make a mecca to the Sundara Spa in search of peace and relaxation.

editedDSC_9415-2974117746-O_RLook for an enhanced menu of ancient Ayurvedic services in 2014, as the General Manager has recently traveled to India and returned with a vision of bringing the "true" ancient rituals of the Eastern world to central Wisconsin.

Duck_RAffordable by big city standards, visitors to the region will enjoy the specials and limited-time offers frequently updated on the Sundara Inn and Spa website.
