Night in the Marsh Haven Museum Spring Sleepover
Spend a “Night at the Museum” and discover the displays in
darkness, learn by lamplight, and campout by the critters.
Marsh Haven welcomes families and groups to this unique
overnight opportunity. The evening starts with an animal
ambassadors program, and continues with educator-led
activities, flashlight tours of the displays, moonlight hike,
snacks, movie, and finally lights outs. On Saturday morning a light breakfast will
be served, with games and activities before saying goodbye. The event ends at 9
am Saturday, but feel free to stay and explore the nature center by daylight.
* Pre-registration required - $25 per person, $20 for Marsh Haven members,
$15 a person for groups for 10 or more (scouts, 4-H, school groups)
* Overnight guests are responsible for providing and maintaining the chaperone
ratio of one adult for every five children
FYI: Sleeping areas will be spread throughout the museum on bare or
carpeted floors - A full list of overnight recommendations will be provided at
the time of registration.
