In this site-specific installation, Milwaukee artist Tyanna Buie employs a combination of screen printing, collage, and ink on paper together with three-dimensional objects to convey loss, impermanence, and unconventional family dynamics. We all carry our past with us, and great art can tap into that in a constructive way. Tyanna Buie takes her past and makes something positive. Hopefully it will do the same for others.
