The 26th Annual Polar Plunge

The Polar Plunge is the nation’s largest grassroots fundraiser with the proceeds going to benefit local Special Olympics Wisconsin athletes and participants.

Day of Check In begins at 8:30am
Opening Ceremonies begin at 11:00am

Starting at 11:00am, the opening ceremonies will have Special Olympics athletes and participants lead the event with the Special Olympics Athlete Oath.

Then, it’s time to hit the water!

You can run, walk, or crawl – either way, there is a safety diver waiting to give you a high five at the end!

There will be warming tents to change to keep you comfortable before and after the plunge. For spectators, sponsors, polar pledgers, and polar plungers there will also be:
 • Souvenirs
 • Concessions including hot chocolate and coffee
 • Wood Fired pizzas
 • Cornhole
 • And more!

        *Parking at 1433 Rose St will be RESERVED for VIP and Volunteer Parking only*
