River Walk Beautification & Cook Out

Commerce’s new group aimed at engaging Millennials, is hosting three events during YP Week at the end of April, and you’re invited! The event on Saturday April 21st is a collaboration with the Beaver Dam Rotary Club and the Parks Department of the City of Beaver Dam to plant bushes and trees in the new Rotary Riverwalk Park. It is also being hosted in conjunction with other groups that will be cleaning up downtown Beaver Dam for the summer season. The Riverwalk Beautification and Cook Out is family friendly. If you’re a Millennial with a spouse or with young kids, everyone is welcome to help with greening downtown on the weekend of Earth Day. After the work of planting there will be a cook out at our sponsor for this event, Inter-Quest, on their back patio overlooking the park and river, free for all participants. The newest members of our workforce are encouraged to bring their friends and co-workers. We need a head count for food so please RSVP through the Chamber’s CATALYST Facebook page or TEXT Alison at 920-296-4469.
