As part of the year long celebration of the 175th anniversary of the founding of Beaver Dam, the Beaver Dam Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Beaver Dam office of the United States Postal Service, will be selling collectors envelopes, stamped for the holiday season, with official First Day Cancellation from representatives of the Postal Service during the Holiday Open House. Philatelic enthusiasts and collectors are invited to stop at the Old Depot, 127 S. Spring Street on Saturday, December 3, 2016, between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm to purchase their First Day Cancellation collector envelopes. This will be a limited edition opportunity of no more than 250 First Day Cancellation souvenir envelopes. Both pre-orders and post orders will be accepted, while supplies last.
