The Stars of Sky & Screen: Wisconsin's Drive-In Movie Theaters

Jul 02, 2018 01:10AM ● Published by Jessica Witkins

At the height of its popularity in the 1950s and 60s, some 4,000 drive-in movie theaters scattered the U.S. Though many of those theaters closed, fortunately Wisconsin still offers families a chance at the drive-in movie experience.

Let the kids stay up late on your next vacation with old-fashioned film fun – visit one of the state's remaining nine drive-in locations! These vintage movie venues offer double features, concessions, and many of the season’s newest flicks. Get comfy in the car, or snuggle up with blankets outside.
