Family Friendly Halloween Adventures in Milwaukee

Fall is always a fun time of year in Milwaukee.  It seems everyone is trying to grasp every moment of good weather because we all know winter is coming.  There so many fun ways to get out and enjoy some family friendly Halloween fun that everyone will enjoy.

Discovery World

Haunted Tall Ships  The Haunted Tall Ships will have tours going on during weekends until October 26th, each tour last around 20 minutes and are family friendly.  You can find the Haunted Tall Ship at the Discovery World port on Lake Michigan.

 

Milwaukee County Zoo

Boo at the Zoo  Friday, October 17 & Saturday, October 18, 2014 6 pm-9 pm.  Enjoy not so scary, family-friendly but ghoulishly fun activities throughout the zoo.

Halloween Trick-or-Treat Spooktacular  October 24, 6-9 pm & October 25, 9 am-9 pm.  Go trick-or-treating throughout the Zoo, there'll be all sorts of frighteningly fun activities. March in the costume parade at 2 pm on Saturday. Get lost in the haystack maze.

 

Betty Brinn Children's Museum

Not-So-Scary Halloween  October 23–25, 2014, 12 pm-4 pm. Kids can visit Treat Stops throughout the Museum to to receive goodies (with or without a costume).

Little Monster Bash  October 24, 6 pm - 9 pm.  Little monsters will want to dance the night away at the Museum’s popular annual Little Monster Bash!

 

Milwaukee Art Museum

Kohl's Art Generation Family Sundays: Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) October 19, 10 am-4 pm,  Paint your face like a calavera, and explore the beauty of symbols such as butterflies, marigolds, and color through hands-on art activities. Enjoy performances of Mexican dance and mariachi music.

 

Mitchell Park Domes

Ghosts Under Glass October 31, 6 pm -9 pm.  Enjoy a night of not-too-spooky family fun at the Domes.
