Family Dining in the Wisconsin Dells

Website: http://www.sprecherspub.com/One of four Sprecher's Restaurant & Pub locations in the state of Wisconsin, the Dells location stays true to the mission of sourcing local ingredients and featuring foods with a Wisconsin flair (fish fry anyone?). Serving European-style brews and gourmet sodas from the Milwaukee-based Sprecher Brewery, you can even order a hard root beer float made with Sprecher Hard Root Beer (21 and over, of course). We had fun "pecking" at our food while wearing Spreacher crow hats.
We also enjoyed the Ruben Bites—corned beef, sauerkraut and Swiss cheese breaded and deep fried, served with horseradish sauce and 1000 island dressing for $9. This makes for a nice "break" from cheese curds.
Paul Bunyan's Northwoods Cook Shanty
Website: http://www.dellspaulbunyans.com/An "Up North" themed gift shop and lumberjack show add to the Paul Bunyan's Northwoods Cook Shanty dining "experience". Breakfast and dinner are all you can eat and the meal is served lumberjack style, meaning large portions are brought to the table for everyone to share. The dining room feels like you're in a lumber camp, with blue tin mugs, metal plates, long bench seats, and red-and-white gingham tablecloths.
Lunch has a wider-selection of meals, including a standard kids menu. Meal prices are calculated by age, so this is a great option if you have babies and toddlers. Plus, everyone can wear a signature Babe the Blue Ox horn hat. We liked the chocolate cake served for dessert:
