First Wing Family Theatre will present “Doctor Dolittle, Jr.” on June 24 & 25 at Lake Mills High School Auditorium, 615 Catlin Dr., Lake Mills, WI. Based on the classic Doctor Dolittle series by Hugh Lofting, this whimsical musical follows John Dolittle as he becomes the world’s greatest animal doctor by learning to speak thousands of animal languages, and sets off on a fantastic adventure to find the Great Pink Sea Snail. Through witty dialogue, beautiful singable tunes, such as the familiar “Talk to the Animals,” and lots of barking, meowing, mooing, quacking, roaring and cooing, “Doctor Dolittle, Jr.” reminds us of our responsibility to care for, and rejoice in, our fellow creatures. Featuring a cast of 43 gifted young actors, "Doctor Dolittle, Jr." is a family-friendly musical, appealing to all age groups.
