Superior String Alliance Chamber Players Concert

Comprised of the Superior String Alliance Faculty, the SSA Chamber Players perform concerts throughout the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The group is derived from the professional faculty who teach at the SSA Summer Music Camp, which takes place in Michigamme during June and July. For this program the SSA Chamber Players will perform a diverse selection of works for violin, viola, and cello. Founded in 1984, the Superior String Alliance is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that supports the art of learning and performing music on the violin, viola, cello, and bass throughout Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. SSA provides music education for string students grades 4-12 through the SSA Summer Music Camp. SSA also provides performance opportunities for the professional string musicians who are camp faculty members through the SSA Chamber Players.
