ToHuBoHu

Specializing in blues, jazz and alt-country with a side of classic New Orleans, Escanaba-based group ToHuBoHu is one of the Upper Peninsula’s most eclectic and exciting bands. With a wildly unconventional set list and an even more unusual lineup, ToHuBoHu has brought their tunes to audiences in the U.P. and beyond for over five years. Drummer Dave Potvin is the rhythmic engine powering the band. Tuba player Bruce Cassell lays down some of the tightest grooves in town with the last instrument you’d expect. And, on keyboards, guitar, and lead vocals, John D. Beck belts out the classics and deep cuts that make ToHuBoHu.
