The Eastman Nature Center at Elm Creek Park Reserve hosts 'Big Woods Halloween' 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Earn prizes trying carnival games and a pumpkin scavenger hunt. Play in a corn pool, straw pile, and inflatable obstacle course. Meet a real snake and collect treats from costumed animals along a woodland trail. Make a craft and visit the Gross-out Grotto. Hear animal legends by a bonfire and watch a silly puppet show. Refreshments included for adults and kids. Cost is $7 for ages 2-17 who pre-register or $8 the day of the event, and $5 for ages 18+ who pre-register and $7 the day of the event.
