Used Book Sale To Be Held in Fox Lake The Fox Lake Public Library Friends are planning to have a Used Book Sale in Fox Lake on October 16 and 17, 2015 at the Fox Lake Community Center. Along with the Used Book Sale there will be a bake sale featuring many tasty items. The Fox Lake Public Library is accepting books, CDs and DVDs for this event. The books must be in lift- able boxes that can be closed. The Library is open 10 AM to 7 PM, Mon. thru Thur, 10 AM to 5 PM on Fridays and 10 AM to 2 PM on Saturdays. A Used Book Sale not only financially assists the group doing it, but it is a bonus to the community as books can be purchased for a very low price and enjoyed all over the home. The Fox Lake Public Library Friends will use the book sale funds to help the Fox Lake Public Library. They sponsor one of the summer reading programs, give a FREE Valentine’s Day Tea, purchase books for the Library and assist with refreshments at normal Library programs. The Friends are now conducting their membership drive and would welcome new members. Hours of the sale will be Friday, Oct. 16, 9 AM – 6 PM and Saturday, Oct. 17, 9AM to 3 PM.
