Prairie Seed Collection at Elm Creek Park Reserve

Help restore prairie by collecting native wildflower seed Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2015 from 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., at Elm Creek Park Reserve, Maple Grove. Volunteers increase the amount and diversity of seed planted annually in more than 1,200 acres of restored prairie managed by Three Rivers. Learn about the prairie’s rich history and how to identify many of the plants. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old, or be accompanied by a responsible adult. Groups are welcome but must have at least one adult per eight youths. This program is for ages 12+. A permission form is needed for participation by minors. To register, call 763-559-6706.
