Millennials: How do you work with them?!

Millennials: How do you work with them?! Do you find that some of your seasoned staff don’t understand the newest generation in the workforce, the Millennials? Are their stereotypes often negative? Do your newest employees look at older staff as “fossils”? Do they seem to lack respect for management? Steve Benzschawel will provide an often humorous description of how the generations in the workforce today perceive their roles, and how you as a manager or employer can communicate with them to maximize everyone’s potential. Like it or not, multiple generations with different ways of looking at life, work and play are here, in your workforce and they are here to stay. Steve is the Program Director of Wisconsin Business World, a WMC program that teaches business basics to high school students each summer. The 2,000+ teenagers Steve sees each year as a youth basketball coach and as the Director of Business World, inspire and inform his presentation. Steve is one of the Millennials he describes in his presentation. He embodies his generation’s belief that some people do their best work with ear buds in, while texting, snapping, skyping and tweeting! Don’t miss this entertaining yet educational session on how you can create a successful atmosphere for all your employees just by learning the best ways to motivate each generation. Join us in September! Veterans Center - 300 Beichl Avenue at the corner of Wayland Street and Beichl Avenue, across from Nancy’s Notions. Catering by Comfort Cuisine Express.
