Nuno Felting with Elizabeth Carr

Saturday, December 13 | 10:30–3:00

Nuno felting is a technique in which wool is bonded with a sheer fabric, usually silk, to create a lightweight felt. The combination of wool and silk create magnificent textural effects particularly suitable for creating lightweight fabrics used to make wearable designs. This studio will allow you to explore the fundamentals of nuno felting through the creation of a scarf. No prior experience with fiber art necessary.
