Scanning Day @ the Library

Learn to scan your old photos and precious family documents

Do you have lot of old photos that you want digitized? Do you have postcards and letters you want to save on your computer or email? Come to the Beaver Dam Community Library any time Wednesday, January 22 from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. to learn more about the library's scanners. Scanning will be done on a first come, first served basis. Bring old photos, postcards, letters, etc. (limit of 25 per person) to be scanned by library staff. The items can be scanned to a USB drive, Google drive, email or smartphone. Scanned images are automatically converted into PDF, searchable PDF, Word, JPEG and TIF file formats. It is so easy to use! Library staff will also teach you how to use this service on your own. Chance to be entered in a drawing for a free USB drive! Free and open to all.
