Changing Demographics in Beaver Dam
Changes in our area’s demographics and the opportunities and challenges they present will be discussed at the next Leadership Luncheon sponsored by the Beaver Dam Chamber of Commerce, 127 S. Spring St., on Thursday, Nov. 2 from noon to 12:45 p.m.
This free event will focus on how current demographic trends impact schools, businesses and non-profits and will include time for audience participation. Dr. Mark Moldrem will moderate the discussion featuring Mark DiStefano, BDUSD Superintendent, Mayor Becky Glewen, City of Beaver Dam, Letty Castillo, Community Action Coalition and Rev. Cherie Forret, Trinity United Methodist Church.
“We have found in the past that people who come are energized by the presentation,” said Joel Winter, one of the organizers of the event sponsored by the Beaver Dam Chamber of Commerce. “They also learn more from one another in the time of sharing. Folks leave eager to apply at work and at home what they have gathered from this experience.”
Join our panel as we discuss the change in demographics in our area in the past and opportunities for the future, the impact on our schools, businesses and non-profits, and so much more! We will also have time for audience questions. All packed into 45 minutes.
Scheduled to speak are:
