The Beaver Dam Chamber of Commerce invites the public to attend a joint Rotary Club, Discover Dodge and Chamber of Commerce luncheon celebrating National Travel & Tourism Week and featuring Wisconsin Department of Tourism Regional Tourism Specialist and Beaver Dam native Drew Nussbaum. The luncheon is at noon, on Monday May 1st at Old Hickory Golf Club. Cost is $15.00 per person. The Chamber is rolling out its first ever Hospitality Service Award at this year’s Tourism Luncheon. The annual award will be recognizing a front line tourism or retail customer service representative from a local business that has demonstrated outstanding customer service. Wisconsin’s tourism industry in the last couple of years has been growing! · Tourism is a substantial and growing driver of the Wisconsin economy and represents a significant source of business sales, employment, and taxes in Wisconsin. · Total tourism business sales of over $17 billion in 2016 sustained nearly 200,000 jobs, both directly and indirectly.
