Directed by Ryan Madala-Klug Summer Main Stage Musical!  Auditions: May 21 & 22 from 6:30 - 9:30 pm; Callbacks on May 23 Show Dates: August 11-20       Auditions will be held for BDACT’s Summer Production of “Into the Woods” on Sunday, May 21st, and Monday, May 22nd, from 6:30 – 9:30.  Callbacks (if necessary) will be held on Tuesday, May 23rd.  You are only required to attend one night of preliminary auditions, but everyone should plan on keeping Tuesday open should you get called back.  We anticipate that you will be at auditions for about 45 minutes to an hour.  Auditions will consist of singing a song selection, a quick monologue, and possibly readings from the script.  There will be no dance audition.      We are looking for dynamic performers that are up to the challenge to tackle this incredibly intricate piece of theatre!       Below you will find all the pertinent audition information and materials.  Please read through everything prior to auditioning.  People who wish to audition for the show should pick one song from the selections below. You will only be allowed to sing one song, so choose the song that most closely aligns with the role you hope to get.  You should also familiarize yourself with the readings and memorize one of the two monologues.  If you have your audition form filled out before you come to audition, it will save you lots of time once you arrive.  Please notate all conflicts on your form.  We will rehearse 4-5 nights per week for the majority of the rehearsal period, but they may differ from week to week depending on conflicts.       Video Submissions are more than welcome, but must be submitted before 9:30 pm on Tuesday, May 23rd.       Any video submissions, questions regarding auditions, rehearsals, or performances should be directed to Ryan Madala-Klug, at ryantmk@yahoo.com or 920-698-6414.
