Become a master of preparing and cooking wild fish

A cooking-themed program at the Horicon Marsh Education and Visitor Center

Whether you prefer to catch fish from a boat or through the ice, put the meat in your freezer to good use with help from a cooking-themed program at the Horicon Marsh Education and Visitor Center Saturday, Feb. 11 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Join John Motoviloff, DNR shooting sports program staff member and author of "Wild Rice Goose and Other Dishes of the Upper Midwest," and "Flyfishers Guide to Wisconsin and Iowa" to learn more about new ways to prepare your catch. After an hour-long presentation, participants will have an opportunity to taste delicious freshwater fish chowder and other dishes. This program is free and open to the public - no registration is required
