Beaver Dam Community Hospitals, Inc. (BDCH) will be hosting an Open House Celebration on Wednesday, Dec. 7 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. in the BDCH Conference Center featuring its new state-of-the-art da Vinci XI® Surgical System. BDCH is celebrating the successful launch of its minimally invasive, robot-assisted surgery program by inviting the public to view the robot, meet general surgeons from BDCH Surgical Specialists and participate in demonstrations. Those in attendance can learn about the successful cases already completed at BDCH, what type of procedures are performed with the da Vinci XI, and the benefits of using robot-assisted surgery. A Cornerstone Ceremony marking the sealing of a time capsule to be opened in 2072 will begin the festivities at 4 p.m. at the BDCH front entrance. Those in attendance will also be able to tour BDCH’s state-of-the-art Tomosynthesis (3D Mammography) suite and witness the unveiling of the updated History Hall. Light refreshments will also be served.
