Sugar River Outfitters is a family friendly and family owned canoe and kayak rental service located just outside Madison on the Upper Sugar River. We provide equipment for a roughly a 3 hour trip through woods, prairies, and beautiful Wisconsin landscapes. Each participant is fitted with a Coast Guard approved paddling life vest down to 35lbs for children and up to XL Adult. We describe this section of river as perfect for those with a little experience and a sense of adventure. First timers to river paddling? We also offer guided service (please contact us directly if needed) that comes with basic instruction and assistance down the river. We also host larger groups including Scouts, Youth Groups, Churches, multi-family parties, corporate outings, and more! Need help fundraising? We do that too!
